1. Reply/Session Message
Your business can send any nature of messages. There is no limit defined by WhatsApp. Although if you send too many messages (may be promotional in nature), then the user itself can block you. If your business gets too many blocks then WhatsApp can deactivate your account. Currently, WhatsApp hasn't shared any more details on this but if your use-case is right then there is nothing to worry. Among all the brands using us, no one has to face this issue.
2. Notification/Post-Session Message
You can only send non-promotional content as notification messages. Only fixed pre-approved templates can be sent to the user. WhatsApp manually approves these templates to make sure you only send non-promotional content. There are 10 supported categories for Notification Templates:
