1. Introduction 

To use efficient automation for providing assistance to your customers it becomes imperative to direct the customers from various sources to your WhatsApp bot. The source option in the Morph platform enables the bot builder to reach out to their users at multiple points of interaction. It enables the bot builder to drive the traffic towards the bot. This serves two major purposes one being the efficient use of automation since a major part of the incoming traffic is directed to the bot. Second, being a user’s consent for using the bot on WhatsApp.

2. Access

On the left panel under Configure, click on the source. To create a new source click on Create New


The Source panel will display already created widgets/links along with channel information. You can select the type of source from a list of options given on the left which will show the list of relevant source links created.


3. Types of Source 

There are four major places a bot builder can as the source of traffic. 

3.1 WA Website Chat

You users can start chatting with you on your website. Once a user enters a message   he/she would be directed to WhatsApp


A. Creating the widget 

On the source, page click on Create New button on the top right corner of the page. This will open the list of options. Select WhatsApp Website Chat in the Website section. 


     


B. Widget Settings

   I. Basic Details 

       Provide Name, Brand’s Whatsapp Number and website on which you want to place the widget.



    II. Configure 

         Add a Profile Image (Brand Image) for WhatsApp Chat widget. 

         Add Title which is often the name of your bot. 

         In Subtitle, you can represent the purpose of the bot with phrases like ‘    

        ‘How can I help you?’
         A welcome message is like a call to action for the user. You can display a message

         that would guide the user to begin the conversation.



   III.  Setup
          Install The Morph.ai SDK and make sure you verify it. 

          You can Activate/Deactivate the widget from the options present here.

3.2 WA Opt-In 

 Opt-in is the consent that you obtain from the user to send messages/updates to them. This is a mandatory 

  process to run an ethical automation process to serve your customers.

      

A. Creating an Opt-in widget 

     Click on Create New on the source page and from the Buttons section select Optin button. 



B. Widget Settings

I.  Basic Details 

    Provide Name, Brand’s Whatsapp Number and website on which you 

    want to place the widget.



II. Configure

The welcome message is displayed on the opt-in widget and is independent of the actual bot on WhatsApp. Add a Button Label, this is the name of the action button which the user will click to submit information. ( Send, Subscribe)

Opt-in Template: Once a user opts in to for your bot a message will be sent to the user informing them about opt-in and opt-out. This template has to be pre-approved by WhatsApp. 

   


3.3 WA Redirect

  The redirect button has an embedded link. Once the user clicks on this link they are redirected to WhatsApp, 

   if they have the app installed. 

A. Creating a Redirect Button

Click on Create New on the source page and from the Buttons section select redirect button. 



B. Widget Settings

     I.  Basic Details

         Provide Name, Brand’s Whatsapp Number and website on which you want to place the widget.


 


II. Configure 

     Add a Welcome message which will be displayed to the user on WhatsApp when they are redirected. Select a Button size           (Small, Medium), Select Button color (Green, White, Grey), Select a Button label ( Get this on WhatsApp, Send to           

     WhatsApp) 

 


III. Setup

      Install and verify Morph.ai SDK

      Copy-paste the code in your websites source code to display the redirect button

      You can activate or deactivate the button from the platform itself.



3.4 WA Link 

      You can share a link with your customers via email or SMS. When a user clicks on the link 

      they are redirected to WhatsApp if they have the app installed.

A. Creating a WA link

Click on Create New on the source page and from the Link section select WhatsApp link. 


B. Configure

     I. Basic Details

         Provide Name and Brand’s Whatsapp Number



     II. Configure

           Add a Welcome message, this will be displayed when the user 

           Opens WhatsApp using the given link. 

      III. Setup

              You can copy the link and use it in your Email or SMS marketing campaigns
